These specialists solve everyday homicides in the Miami area, ranging from revenge to prostitution.
The criminals of CSI Miami are of a broad range, but all have a strong enough motive to attempt murder. These motives are of revenge, money, sex, and alcohol all resulting in the murder or murders of un-expecting and most times un-derserving people. The criminals are shown to be very sly throughout the show, but as more discriminating evidence is found, the criminals give way, eventually explaining the reason for their murder(s).
